15 Questions and 3 Old Proposals Got It Half Written
Trevera Solutions implements NetSuite, Oracle Fusion and eBusiness Suite. The RFPs it answers run 40 to 50 pages. Sean Chawla fed about 15 of the questions and 2 or 3 old responses into AI and got more than half the document back.

Chawla is blunt about why the work had to change. The responses had grown past the point where writing them by hand made sense, and he says the whole category is going the same way.
Why it matters to you.
Most founders look at proposal work and see a cost they cannot bill, so they leave it alone and keep paying for it out of margin. That is the wrong read. Proposal writing is the one place where your own back catalog is already the asset, and nobody is charging you to use it. The number that matters here is not the 50 to 60%. It is what sits underneath it: Chawla had 2 or 3 prior responses good enough to seed from. A firm with no organized archive gets nothing from this. The move is the repository, and the 50 to 60% is what the repository pays. This only holds if your past proposals are findable. If they live in individual inboxes, you do not have a repository. You have a filing problem.
“I was able to take about 15 questions and take a repository and feed in 2 or 3 responses, and then I’d say 50 to 60% of the work was done. - Sean Chawla, EVP of Business Development, Trevera Solutions, an ERP implementation firm”
